The Bangladesh Ship Recycling Board (BSRB) is committed to supporting the ship recycling industry with the knowledge, tools, and partnerships needed to meet global standards. - Technical Guidance – Advising yards on compliance with the Ship Recycling Act 2018, Ship Breaking Rules 2011, and the Hong Kong Convention (HKC 2009).
- Training & Capacity Building – Organizing skill development programs, safety drills, and specialized courses for workers, supervisors, and managers.
- Environmental Solutions – Providing guidance on hazardous waste management, TSDF use, and eco-friendly yard practices.
- Global Partnerships – Facilitating collaboration with IMO, EU, classification societies, and donor agencies for technical cooperation and green investment.
- Advisory Services – Offering consultation on SRP (Ship Recycling Plan) and Facility Plan preparation, compliance upgrades, and certification processes.
